DRIVER'S LICENCE REQUIREMENTS
All drivers must be in possession of a full, unendorsed, Driver’s Licence at the time of rental. (Certain minor endorsements may be acceptable, please call us prior to booking). All drivers must have held a full Driver’s Licence for at least 24 months prior to hiring a car with the Company and must present themselves with their full, unendorsed Driver’s Licence at the pick-up location at the time of rental.

AGE REQUIREMENTS - RESTRICTIONS
All drivers must have held their full Licence for at least 24 months prior to the date of pick-up. The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 25 years (maximum 70).

ADDITIONAL NAMED DRIVER
Additional drivers may be added upon proof of the additional drivers insurance.

FUEL POLICY
We do not run a full tank to full tank policy the policy is read by the vehicle level at time of hire, like for like on return.

PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS
A deposit of 25% is required upon booking. The balance to be paid strictly 7 days prior to the date of hire. Provisional bookings are not binding and assumed to have been cancelled unless a deposit is received within 14 days of the booking date. All major credit cards accepted.

CANCELLATIONS
If the customer cancels a booking within 48 hours from the date of hire, 50% of monies paid is non-refundable. If the customer cancels a booking within 24 hours from the date of hire, 100% of monies paid is non-refundable. All monies paid are non-refundable if the customer does not show up on the day of hire.

CITY CENTRE PICK-UP LOCATIONS
The Company provides a delivery service to some city locations with acceptable car-parking facilities. If you have chosen a city centre pick-up location your car will be delivered to the nearest location on the date and time you have requested. When you have made your booking please send an email to info@textoneprestige.com noting your reservation number and the required delivery address in full. We will confirm delivery by email. The delivery charge will be advised at time of reservation confirmation.

REGIONAL AIRPORT PICK-UP LOCATIONS
The Company provides a delivery service to Belfast/Derry Airport. If you have chosen one of these airports as your pick-up location your car will be delivered on the date and time you have requested. A representative will meet you at the information point at your desired Airport. We will be in contact via email to confirm the precise delivery details before your arrival at your airport.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Covered by customer’s own insurance company if required.

BABY SEATS AND CHILD SEATS
Smaller children (i.e. persons under 150 centimetres in height and less than 36 kilograms in weight) are required to be restrained in an appropriate child restraint system when travelling in a passenger car or goods vehicle. Under no circumstance is it permissible for a child under 3 years of age to travel in a private car or goods vehicle unless s/he is restrained in an appropriate child restraint. Baby seats if required are at hirer responsibility.

PETS
Under no circumstances does Text One Prestige Ltd allow pets of any kind on our vehicles. There will be £500.00 charge if Text One Prestige realise the hire to be in breach of this condition.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Please note that there will be an extra charge of £50 +VAT where your car is collected or dropped off outside of normal office / location opening hours.

SPEEDING –PARKING AND OTHER ENDORSEMENTS
Please note that fines for speeding / Parking Fines and tolls are the responsibility of the hirer in full. Text One Prestige Ltd accepts no responsibility for any fine payment and may charge an administration fee for any penalties that are not settled before the end of the rental. The renter is obliged to inform Text One Prestige of any fines or parking tickets issued whilst the renter is using the vehicle.

AA BREAKDOWN SERVICE
In the event of a breakdown, please contact your local rental office first. However in the event of a genuine breakdown, you are covered by 24hour AA Break-Down service. AA will not cover wheels, flat tires, fuel contamination or keys (lost or locked in the vehicle). If you wish to use their service to replace a flat tyre or keys locked in the vehicle the cost of the callout will be charged directly by the AA.
If the AA are called out needlessly the callout charge may be chargeable to the renter.

SMOKING POLICY
Please note that smoking is prohibited in our vehicles and where this is ignored a charge of £100 will be applied for valet. A strict no-smoking policy applies in all our cars. 

VALET CHARGES
If a vehicle is deemed to require an extensive valet on return (upholstery and carpet shampoo) there will be an additional charge for valet of £100.

LOSS/DAMAGE
Text One Prestige will not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to property left in our vehicles by the customer.

Customers will find our cars in pristine condition. If any damage is caused by the customer to the interior or exterior of our cars on hire, they will be charged accordingly to reinstate the cars to their original condition.

POLICY
Text One Prestige reserves the right to change the chauffeur or vehicle at any time if deemed necessary.

Text One Prestige may refuse, at its discretion, any booking without reason and also reserves the right to refuse to carry any passengers that are under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour might pose a threat to the chauffeur or the vehicle.

All our vehicles are maintained to a very high standard and in the unlikely event of your chosen car being unavailable, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, all efforts will be made to provide a suitable replacement.

If a customer requests our chauffeur to “wait a while” and a parking ticket is incurred by our chauffeur, then this cost will be passed on to the customer.

Also any tolls or car parking tickets received while our cars are on hire are charged at cost accordingly.

If a customer requests a different / longer route on the day of hire other than what was originally agreed at the time of booking, then the customer will be charged accordingly.

MISUSE POLICY
Text One Prestige Ltd reserves the right to examine vehicle location history, to analyse continued excessive speed, especially when the speeds are over 130mph.

Text One Prestige Ltd also reserve the right to examine tyres for excessive wear and tear in relation to high speed cornering, hand break turning and wheel spinning to excess relevant to the mileage calculation covered during the rental period.
